  • oh! and with the pickguard cut up like that, it's way extra super-ghetto. you can see the pickup cavity out of the bottom, and the wood under where the guard was is lighter than the rest of the guitar:lmao:
thanks:D didja notice i hacked apart the bottom of the pickguard? i friggin' hated having to reset the action/intonation every time i wanted to switch something around under the 'guard. also, despite the fact that that picture is only a few days old, it's already got different pickups again! i stuck the 490 set back in with a5/a8 magnets. and i've got artie/page wiring:D
    thanks:)

cool. what kinda music did you guys play? i'll definitely check it out, just let me know when it's finished:D

man i'm also real happy right now, i just realized that i can use my buddie's vocal mic to record my amp:smack: plus, my interface is working right again! last week it was freezing up a storm and stuff:(
thanks dude! my buddy and i split most of it in half. i wrote the second half of "the spider king", ice blast highway, and "dunno...". he did the first half of "spider king", and origami world. what's funny is that everything is out of time since my computer's got laggy tracking and we did the drums through his cheap-o keyboard:lmao:
what magnets do you have in it? the stock a2/a2 setup has an over-abundance of mids. also, it might be measuring lower depending on environmental conditions and/or just that it may have less wire on it.
i actually didn't get another one, i just switched my PGb and PCb around, so that the PG is in the neck and vice versa with the PC. what 'snarl' are you talking about? you mean the way it breaks up with distortion? mine wasn't toooo gritty, but it was certainly very fat with good top end clarity but was definitely grainier than a standard single. what's the resistance reading on your PCb? it should be about 8.4k.
Yeah. I think I need to take a break and just play em! I also just got a squier jagmaster and put my seth b in it, Yummy!. Also I just got a squier standard strat, that I have a ssl 5 going in the bridge. Party time!!
Not sure yet.. I love the pgn, but the custom a-2, I am still trying to get a feel for.
I really dug it as custom 5. Am gonna feel a-2 out for a while, to see if it will stay.
If not, I'd like to try a pgb or pg+ (I am getting a pg+ soon (white), so I will give it a go, probably). I have a seth bridge (cream) I would like to try also. All in all, A-2's warmed it up a lot!
How do you like your squier tele deluxe? I have a squier tele custom 2 (blonde, the one in my avatar) with aph-5 and custom 5, it rawks!
well if you did that, the bridge would be hum cancelling with the single, but still out of phase. i think it'd be easiest to have a standard wind/polarity bridge and neck with the RWRP single in the middle, it's already been figured out:laughing:
well, IIRC a PCn is rwrp, and if you have a middle single rwrp, the two won't be hum cancelling, but the single with the humbucker would. if you had a bridge model PC in the neck it'd be hum cancelling with the PC and middle single. or you could have a PCn wound standard, though i don't know if it'd be a custom shop or floor shop custom.
