Passive. I may go with Seymour Duncan. I ordered some custom sized pickups for a Jackson several years ago and they weren't a crazy price. I am going to mull this over for a while and enjoy the process of deciding what to do. Is there room in the electronics cavity for a 9V?

Does Seymour Duncan make and bass pickups that are drop in replacements for the XT-25 (5 String Bass)? I am not sure if the pickup cavities are a standard size or not. I want something bright and punchy in the bridge position, and something more smooth and mellow in the neck position. Suggestions?
