Pickups for Steinberger Spirit XT-25 5 String Bass

Does Seymour Duncan make and bass pickups that are drop in replacements for the XT-25 (5 String Bass)? I am not sure if the pickup cavities are a standard size or not.

I want something bright and punchy in the bridge position, and something more smooth and mellow in the neck position. Suggestions?

Hard to tell from a picture what the dimensions of those pickups are- they sort of look like standard humbuckers in some pics, and then in others, they don't. Have you measured them?

The EMGs use active mounts, and your Spirit uses rings with 3 adjustment points. Also, they are 4 string pickups. You *could* get the Custom shop to make you pickups, but it would likely cost more than the bass itself. Are these active pickups currently in your bass or passive? You could always add a preamp to the current pickups.

Passive. I may go with Seymour Duncan. I ordered some custom sized pickups for a Jackson several years ago and they weren't a crazy price. I am going to mull this over for a while and enjoy the process of deciding what to do.

Is there room in the electronics cavity for a 9V?

Newest update... EMG advises that their 7 string pickups fit and that some people have have success with 60-7h. But, it's active and I want to stay passive.

I am guessing it is a pretty weird size. I know it is probably what the old school Steinbergers were using back in the day.
