i was thinking about getting a barretta, i wanted to put a emg in it, anyone have any experience with these?

i have a schecter tempest dating to 2002, Ive cant find any info on it because its a flat top but also a goldtop, contacted schecter and told it was some kind of special run but nothing more. does anyone know anything about it?
