Hey man, thinking about swapping the V2 tube in my VHT. RIght now I have the JJ 803s. I need something with a little more gain. Seems like when I hit the more switch (activates v2) it gets flubby, loses tightness, some gain is added, but not the cutting type I want. ANy thoughts? Maybe go 2 TS? I dig the Mullard in the tone V3, move the 803 to the PI?

By the way, what kind of AR you sporting in the pic?
