100% There's basically zero PAF DNA in it. It's like EMG claiming their 81 is PAF. Ridiculous bullshit.

That's how I do it. A sudden tension release isn't good.

I have a HSS strat type Yamaha with an Alnico 2 Pro HB. I loaned it to a friend who plays metal and he loved it. It was his go-to guitar.

The baseplate material has a significant impact on the tone. No German silver, no care. I though my PAF Pro was great...until it stopped working and I switched to SD. Using a PAF Pro now is utterly disappointing.

So it must be my two point floating bridge sinking sustain.

From a ceramic HB to an A2 HB, for example. Does the type of bridge have more of an influence in sustain? I changed a jazzmaster bridge from TOM to mastery and the difference was very significant. Just wondering if a pickup swap from ceramic to A2 will help increase sustain.
