I'm really itchy about hybridizing PB trembucker with 59, both are really good to me! I'm thinking about an A5 in the one with PB screw coil/59 slug coil and an UOA5 in 59 screw coil/PB slug coil, maybe I could go for A5/UOA5 for both. This should be a better, more articulated pickup to me...

I've been thinking about the most versatile, medium/vintage output strat humbucker that can be fairly used for any genre....!! My thoughts are basically focused on: 1- PG/PG+ with UOA5 2- SD with UOA5 3- PA-TB3 4- 59 with A4/UOA5 5- A2P with UOA5 6- WLH

Re: Pairing the Perpetual Burn! My guitar is MIA, a 2008 model The main problem with San Dimas cavities that they are small in length/width wise, routed to almost fit an uncovered trembucker... I' don't think that a little thicker magnet will make a difference in this case.
