Wiring ideas needed for a Jazz, a JB and a 5 way (Strat) pickup selector.

I have a Strat with a Jazz and a JB. They are the original dual bobbin/ non stack versions.
What do you guys think would be the best way to configure the 3 middle pickup selector positions?
I was thinking have 2 and 4 as the individual pickups wired in parallel as I have heard that it gives a better tone than just one coil.
and what about the centre position? Should I simply put the two pickups in the standard parallel wiring or only use one coil (outer or inner) form each.
Of course I'm going to use positions 1 and 5 for the standard individual pickups wired in series setup.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Ok, some fun Ideas I would like to try myself but haven't yet:

- Flip the neck humbucker so the slug coil becomes the outer coil. Some people say the slug coil it soulds better like that in split mode.
- Combine different coil tpyes for the split in inbetween position, that gives you hum cancelling since slug and screw coils are rwrp with each hother.
- I like the sound of the inbetween position with both full humbuckers so I would keep it if ai was you.

Now I realize these kind of match what the Blacktop HH Strats do. Full humbucker sounds al a LP in 1-3-5 positions then some single coil a la Strat in 2-4 positions.
