Is the Tele "Vintage Stack" neck pu a similar design as a typical Fender tele neck pickup, just taller with more winds? What makes it sound the way it does? Is it because it's taller (bigger) than the standard size Tele pickup? It's not a split blade is it?

I assume these all work in a Fender Champ V1 and reduce gain. Gain Factors 12AX7=100 12AY7=70 12AT7=60 I think I will try the Genalex Gold Lion 12AYT and a Weber 30 watt 8s speaker .

I'm leaning towards Lil 59 - Lil 59 - Lil 59 in parallel in my Squier Stratocaster? I don't need any quack or chime. So, Mini Humbuckers all the way seems like what I imagine I want. I already have Lil 59 in the neck and like it a lot. So go all the way?

I had a guy install a Lil 59 in the neck position Of my stock Squier VM Stratocaster. Selector Positions 1, 3 and 5 sound full volume. But position 4 has a serious drop in volume. Does anybody know what might be wrong? The other two are stock Squier pickups (Duncan Designed Asian).

I am think I want: a Lil' 59 - JB Jr. - Lil' 59 set for my Stratocaster. Has anybody tried this?

So they look the same and both are designed to imitate a '59 Humbucker... what's this difference?
