Vintage Stack + Fender '62 bridge pickup ?

Is this a good match in a Telecaster: A Duncan Vintage Stack minibucker in the neck and Fender '62 Custom Hot reissue single coil bridge pickup (005-6075-049) ?
Playing jazz on the neck pic up most of the time.
Currently the MIM 2018 Tele Standard has stock ceramic pickups, not really great clarity and presence .

Thinking “traditional” jazz here. I assume you’ll be on neck 95% of the time so I would focus on that and leave whatever you currently have in the bridge.

Assuming you want to stay with Tele pickups, my recommendation would be the Alnico II Pro for Tele:

The vintage stack is great but IMHO the A2 warmth is a better fit and you don’t really benefit from the hum cancelation of the stack.

And if I were to match it in the bridge I would go with the SD A2Pro bridge or the five two. But then again if it’s for jazz I wouldn’t care for bridge.

If you’re open to humbuckers, let us know :)

I like the A2P for Tele as well. Be careful mixing the SD and Fender pickups, as they are out of phase. You will have to reverse hot and ground on one of them.

When I listen to Duncan's sound clips of the Vintage Stack and the Alnico II Pro, it seems to me the Stack is fatter.
Duncan customer service on the phone also recommend the Stack since I said I was a fan of the Antiquity P90.

For the bridge I'm going with the "Fender '62 Custom" lead pickup. It too has a pronounced mid range with smoother highs.

Update:

I've had the Vintage Stack ($70) and the Fender '62 ($40) Custom Hot reissue in for about 8 weeks now. They are superb. The Vintage Stack still has that mellow Telecaster neck pu quality but with with greater clarity now. It's like somewhere between a Fender and a humbucker in tone, but not as fat or muddy as a full sized humbucker, sort of an ideal mix. The Fender '62 is great in the bridge, full bodied, cutting, great mid range, smooth highs, not thin, clear as a bell, no icepick. These are the best Tele pickups I have had. They have a Les Paul quality when in the combined setting.
For comparison I also have a 1969 Telecaster with the original bridge pickup and a 1970 humbucker in it. I like these new pickups better.

I also put Little '59 in all three positions of my Stratocaster. I like them very much, they have great clarity, nice mids and lows. They're not as chimey as Fender Strat pickups, they lean towards humbucker tone but with less exaggerated bass. Especially good are the neck and middle positions. However, the Fender '62 reissue pickup in the bridge of my Telecatser is somehow more commanding (better) than the Little '59 bridge in the Strat.
