Mexicans or quarter horses?
I wonder if he would work on a pro bono type thing where he only gets a small percentage If my horse wins, or if we take a dive.
I wonder how much a couple of fast quarter horses would cost me. I'm thinking about getting a couple to start racing with the Mexicans that are left around here. I'd have to get one of them to be a Jockey. Reckon, what a Mexican charges to jockey a quarter horse?

I'm not sure when I'll be leaving. I'm just waiting on him. He said he didn't know if he would be off early enough today to meet me, so it might be tomorrow. I'm hoping it's this evening cause I hate waiting on a good deal. The longer the wait, the more time for something to screw it up somehow. He said he was going to hold it until we could meet up though, so maybe he will. Ialready ran by the bank this morning to get the dough out, fed the chickens and hounds and I'm sittin here chompin at the bit, ready. We are going to meet in Franklin.
