I love the Fender TBX tone control and I’ve been installing it in all of my guitars. I understand the first half 1-5 is like a regular 250k tone pot and after that you switch to the 1MEG pot and it “extends” the bass and treble (which makes my pickups sound less muddy to my ears, and I love it.)...

New 35 year old Peavey Patriot! Got it yesterday, promptly took out the pot, replaced with a new 500K CTS, replaced the stock Humbucker with a SD Custom Shop ‘78 EVH and now it officially rips!

Hard to pick really. I'll have to go with something I haven't decided to get rid of. Big Muff Ram's Head does it for me.

I put together a new Strat today. I had a 2002 MIM Fender neck laying around after I upgraded to a rosewood neck, so I decided I needed to build it into a guitar. New sunburst Fender body from reverb, electronics from a 2002 MIM Strat, plus a Dimarzio Virtual Solo pickup in the bridge position...

This is at least the 3rd one that I’ve owned and they deliver the goods every time. Of course it’s the ‘78 humbucker for Evenly Voiced Harmonics. Replaced the single coil pickup that came stock in the bridge position of my Music Man Valentine and definitely a big time upgrade.

Matches the 2019 Vintera P-bass All original electronics, in amazing condition for the age! Feels great, plays great, sounds great. First red strat I’ve owned since my very first electric guitar.
