Basically, twice a year, due to the orientation of the streets in Manhattan and other cities, you can see the Sun go down parallel to the street. Makes it look like it's going to touch the street and burn all sentient life. At least that's the first thought that came to mind!

The gig was a corker!
Maybe not as many punters as we all would have liked considering the charity cause and all, but the bands rocked.
Certainly not one of our best gigs, as there was a monitor issue, being the opening act and stuff, and the bass player took his one and hopefully only wobbler mid set cause he couldn't hear ****-all....
But I played fine and had a ball.
The after gig craic with Old Season was hilarious!

Just a heads up that the band are giggin' the Live Evil Dio tribute gig in the Spring and Air on the 13th Aug if you're about.
We've been lying low while the drummer got married there, and our last few gigs have been way up north.
Should be a corkin gig with Harve and Stormzone headlinin'.
