    Lazarus,
Gosh...good thing I am clicking around in my user cp or I would have missed quite a few messages!
I will definitely post a thread after I give her a good try out with the stock speaker and the Electro Voice speaker. I have looked at what is available out there and Carvin seems to have more features on the amp like 4-8-16 ohm switch, effects loop, mic board direct and power amp in. Also a poplar plywood cabinet. Lots of companies used the pressed board. Thanks for your interest! :)
    Kind regards,
    Dan
I apologize for taking so long to respond. I've been with my girl all day long. As far as i can tell it is still pretty loud. I don't think strings would change that much, but im not an electrician so i couldn't tell ya. I did everything the way the diagram said with the exception of bolting down the ground wire. I looped it around the bridge pickup. My tele isnt routed for bolting down the ground. The screw would go straight through the body.
Pickups showed up. I'm getting alot of feedback from them. I put the ground wire around the bridge pickup as is traditional. Hopefully after i string it up, alot of the feedback will be gone but the hum is really loud.
yeah i've played with Paul a couple times at his church 5 minutes down the road. I'm a huge fan of gateway church, Teen Mania's School of Worship (of which I've been a part of for 2 years) has some great connections with Gateway worship. Sion alford actually just came last friday to do a worship seminar for the School of Worship students. If i lived in dallas i would be going to dallas doing the same thing with Gateway (hopefully). they have great teachings, gifts and the anointing, the tabernacle, etc...
    God Bless you man
hey man, what part of texas do you live in? i'm in the lindale area with Teen Mania ministries
Just got off the phone with Scott. He is sending me a new one right away, along with a new power supply for it! Thanks for the prayer and help. It turns out that it is an ongoing problem with the shape shifter, something about a faulty diode.
We made it home. I wish we could have talked more, and my wife Kathy is sorry she didn't get to say hello. It was good to meet you!
Hey Laz, yes I still have the RS delay, but I'm currently using a Maxon AD-900 which I prefer slightly. I'm particularly after a very smooth ambient delay, and nothing seems to do it like the AD-900, it reminds me very much of the old AD-80. The RS is still a great delay though. I'd use both if I had the board real estate, but for now the Maxon wins! Cheers, ~G~
Cool. We are still a small group as this is a new church. We are bringing them in a van. We'll be staying at the Embassy close to SMU. I will give you a shout, if nothing else, to check on that grand baby.
