Hi there! I'm looking at a guitar on line, a Minarik Lotus, that says it has "Tone Perfect" pickups, which is printed on the pups. I can't find any reference to these on the interwebs. Does anyone know who makes (made?) them, or where they come from? Thanks!

Saw (and bought) this on Reverb, for $460. At first glance I saw $300 worth of pups (Little '59 in the neck position, Hot Rails neck in the middle, Hot Rails bridge), $60 worth of locking Fender tuners and $100 SKB case, and thought "no-brainer". Besides the fact that the body is solid mahogany...

I think you hit the nail in the head for me, freefrog! I'm my mind I was discounting the remainder of the carbon path going to ground, but that's actually the 'transient' resistance I was thinking of previously...I put together a test rig guitar that I can experiment with, so I can just connect...

I'm just putting a parts guitar together with things I have laying around, LP style. I'm putting in a pair of 2-wire Seth Lovers that I took out of something else, and I'm just wondering if there are any useful mods that can be done without tearing the pups apart? Thanks!

I'm getting a poplar H-S-H strat style body from China, and I'm looking for pup suggestions. I play mostly clean, thinking '59 neck, Custom-custom or '59 Custom Hybrid bridge (thoughts?), and I have no idea what to put in the middle...
