I bought a Jackson Soloist in taxi yellow and I really dig this guitar and its color. but...I wish it were a little less...yellow hah I mean I wish it were slightly darker and worn. would sanding the gloss finish to satin change anything? any other tricks to pacify this hair metal machine? Thanks!

I have always heard that they invented compound radius and used on their guitars. but all production jacksons and charvels Ive played have a straight radius. have they stopped using it on production models? was it a custom option? have you played vintage jacksons/charvels with a compound radius?

I have been using Elixirs for years now and finally,after hearing much hype, decided to give Cleartones a shot. but they started rusting in about a week. after two weeks they became completely rusted and "tone dead" has anyone had a similar experience or am I doing something wrong?
