That Viking one on the right looks cool 🤘
Another budget Cort. Plays nice. Sounds nice (y)
The graphic looks like the Manilla Road mascot which is why I bought it :D
Changed two sets of strings today & did some string stretching/noodling...
My Ibanez Gio..
It's a shred machine & I love the tone.. (y)
& my Koa top EVH Wolfgang Standard..
Man that's great story! I sold my first guitar, an Ibanez DT250 Destroyer (also X shaped) to a local guy I knew because the neck was beginning to warp slightly. (Informed him of that of course :p). I let it go for almost nothing because of that. In fact there was'nt much point of my selling it...
Cheap Aria HSS Strat. Good looking. Sounds sweet. Plays great. All in all amazing bang for the buck ! I swapped out the neck pup for a white SD Hotrails 'cause the stock pup was kinda dark/muddy...
Another one of my Indo Ibanez Saber's, an S870 with matte flame maple finish & 24 frets..bought this one used a couple of years ago It's a Saber so it plays great!
Sorry to hear about your situation. I'd guess the pickups were somehow damaged "after" being tested/shipped by Seymour Duncan. The chances of SD shipping you two dead Antiquity's in one go (or at all) are pretty slim. I live in India and have bought a lot of pickups from the US over the years...
Pretty sure plenty of players improvise solo's in the studio. It does'nt mean you can't recreate them (or something along those lines) live.
I do it all the time.
This is from a studio recording of my band's (demo version)
& then live I jammed this (@3:30 which is half as long & just...
I was just watching a Stanley Jordan interview with Rick Beato and the dude was all about "relaxation" coming first. He did'nt mention booze lol but I would'nt be surprised if he employed other (greener) methods of relaxation:D. Now that's a guy I've always followed (Mclaughlin too) even...
I don't know about the Shrapnel style shredders. I actually hardly listened to any of that stuff back in the day. But a lot of the guitar guys in regular bands used a bunch of the same licks and they all got them from the "Metal Method" video's. At least that's what it sounded like to me.
Well I'm sure there are plenty of fans out there that feel that way...or the other way around. I like both personally (OK the female Symphonic metal thing is'nt all that much for me), but good old ultra-cheesy/overblown/epic Euro/flower-power from the 90's ...sure. I could listen to that all day...
Well I was going by video's like these (of which there are plenty out there).
Also common sense tells me there's not much room for everyone to improv in a 120 person strong Orchestra w/ everyone sight reading. I should have probably specified "orchestra" 'cause that's what I was referring...
Very sweet looking axe. How does it sound , the pups and stuff?
Does it really need a roller nut? I always avoid messing with nuts unless there's an issue. They can be tricky to replace.
