Went back to the LTD tonight to work on some Exodus and Megadeth. After the mandatory hand/wrist stretches, I decided to do my warmup routine for the first time in a while: three minutes downpicking, three minutes alternate picking, and three minutes hammer-ons and pull-offs (all at 184 bpm on metronome), then some chromatic exercises ending with Darrell Braun's "pinky destroyer" patterns. Definitely helped me play some faster rhythms with less tension and discomfort.
I do love it. Had a push-pull pot installed for coil-splitting, and it's got a set of Black Winters, which sound absolutely killer. I'm also a fan of the LTD set-through U necks.What a killer guitar.
