Re: New Bass Day, The Final Chapter Great looking bass! I love me some P/J action, I have an older Squier version of that same bass that I dropped a set of Lightning Rods into and run at 18 volts. I just wish they'd build a bass with rear-routed P/J's on a Jazz body with a P neck.

I am looking at a Schecter Demon-7 that has original Duncan Designed HB-105/7's in it. I can't find a listing of the dimensions of these pickups and would like to drop a Nazgul/Sentient combo in the guitar. Will they be a direct fit or will I need to bust out the Dremel? Thanks in advance!

I, as well as others, have hunted far and wide for definitive info on these older pickups. I have a couple sets of them but have long since lost the paperwork that came with them that specifically described the effect of the dip switches on them. There is info on the two switch models here on...

I have a P-J set of old school actives called "Active EQ", the ones with the three little dip switches. They are currently running off of a single nine volt battery. I am wondering if anyone knows definitively if they can be run at 18 volts without frying them. Thank you!
