  • Maan I dig the new tunage.
I didn't listen to all since it runs since 2 mins. But i am impressed.
    More and Indepth review soon!
    Cheers man!
Your sound guy is gonna wonder what hit him, especially if he's in the same SM-57 induced slumber that most of them are. Prepare for a much broader frequency spectrum than ever before. The best results I've had from the PR-30 are parallel to the grill, about 4cm in from the edge of the cone, and about 2 or 3cm away from the grill. Let me know how it goes.

you can buy via Paypal or CC directly from the site dude...
I would recomment the High-Z version for you.The Super High Z is a bit brutal for your music i think!
BTW ,please gets some high quality pots and wire .The resonant peak of high Z is about 12k ,wich is 10k higher than Duncan Distortion. There will be lots of highs in your signal if your guitar has them:D
It's always worth doing some experimenting with mic placement, but the general rule is to stay away from the centre of the cone, which tends to be too bright, and move the mic more toward the edge of the cone. You can also try placing the mic at the edge and pointing it in at a 45 degree angle toward the centre. You can put the mic about an inch away from the speaker grill. If you want to try a mic that will easily outperform the standard SM57, have a look at the Heil PR-30, which is a large diaphragm dynamic mic. It gets a sound similar to a condenser mic, but has the SPL handling characteristics of a dynamic and doesn't need phantom power. You can check it out here... http://www.heilsound.com/pro/products/pr30/ I've been using one for recording and for live gigs, and I've never heard a better guitar cab mic. The signal through a PA will be just like a huge version of your amp. Hope this is of some help.

    Regards,

    Geoff.
Sounds really good actually.I understand now why you call it " tool like"...
I am excited about the recordings also..How long will it take?

Thanks. I like to keep them natural or black. Other colors are nice but not for me. I prefer natural over anything.

The Wave was custom ordered by me.

The KV2s are off the shelf with a pickup swap (Distortion and Jazz in place of JB and JB).

The Biches and the Mockingbird are custom shops but not custom ordered by me. They've also been tweaked in hardware and pickups a touch.
Y0! It's been a positive progress, but seeing as I'm in the middle of the exam time now, I haven't got to work out as much as I wanted, unfortunately. But the tips you sent are great! They really make the muscles work hard. :) Thanks man!

Cool pic btw, you look like you're having a giant head! ;)
That is an interesting pic. You look.... like you know something no one else does and you ain't telling.
