Who's working on a build right now? Let's see your stuff!

Re: Who's working on a build right now? Let's see your stuff! The heel of this neck is Strat shaped. I figured it would fit in a Tele if I ever wanted and a properly cut pick guard would cover the gaps.

What is your best looking guitar?

Re: What is your best looking guitar? I recently finished an awesome playing and looking JM but my favorite for looks is still my early 70's FujiGen Tele. It's hard to see in the pic but it has a slight pearlescent top coat on it. ]

    The Warmoth Club

Re: The Warmoth Club I'd say so. I did the same thing plus pickups and all the wiring. I also just finished a JM build with Warmoth body, neck and pickguard.

What can I do about these mop dots? Shortening fingerboard.

Re: What can I do about these mop dots? Shortening fingerboard. You could just round off the heel corners without taking any frets off and it would look better. I did that with my JM (22 frets but square corners) and it looks much better. The difference is subtle but effective. Because it...

    Wiring Diagram Mod?

OK, you guys are pretty sharp on wiring. What I want to accomplish is to put a 4-position switch in my Tele so that position 4 is wired like position 3 on the old Broadcasters. In other words, I have the diagram that puts both pickups in series on position 4 but want it to bypass the tone...

Need some quick advice - should I go for p-Rails with JP wiring on a Les Paul?

Re: Need some quick advice - should I go for p-Rails with JP wiring on a Les Paul? I put mine in the way the factory suggests (note the "Seymour Duncan" logo on them. The rails go towards the center with the P-90's on the outside. It works great. Here's a pic of the installation. There's...

    Where is Your String Tree?

Re: Where is Your String Tree? KeeperOS is right, there. With staggered tuners and a properly cut nut, you don't need string trees.

Who's working on a build right now? Let's see your stuff!

Re: Who's working on a build right now? Let's see your stuff! Been slowly working toward completion on my JM. Basically, all that's left is to mount the Bigsby, get the neck on & adjusted and set it all up. And take the protective sheet off the pickguard, of course.
