P-Rails Pickguard Routing

Re: P-Rails Pickguard Routing

I actually really like the chrome screws. It matches the bridge. Looks more industrial.
I have black ones coming from ebay for about $6 total. I'll try them and then decide which I want to have on it.

I'll get a close-up of the pickguard routing posted later on.

Thanks, Vince.

As promised, here's a photo of the pickguard showing the fit of the pickups and switches.

Had to put pickup rings for the triple shots.

Re: P-Rails Pickguard Routing

Those are two of the sweetest P-Rails implementations I've seen. Nice job guys. :beerchug:
Thanks. Much appreciated.

Cool, toasterdude. Looks good. I just wired the slide switches instead of using triple shots.

I like chrome screws too. They add a nice contrasting detail.

Thanks for the input. The black ones will be here sometime this week. I'll see what they look like then. Still leaning toward the stainless ones but for a couple bucks, it's worth a look.

Wow! A Variax with P-Rails! That is one versatile guitar!

I also have a few variax transplants with p rails. I have three sets of custom shop pearloid covered p rails installed in variax transplants and one extra set for future project.

Re: P-Rails Pickguard Routing

The black screws for the pickguard and slide switches arrived. It was quite boring with them on it. I'm much happier with the chrome & stainless ones.
