I have a LP Jr DC tribute. I like the guitar but find it difficult to access the last 2 frets. Now I have an idea to drum sand the cutaway deeper. But im a bit worried about weakening the short tenon neck joint. I only want to go about 1/2" deep to kinda mimic the access I get on an SG. Thoughts?
