Best feeling neck I ever had was a 74' strat neck with a C shape that had been refretted and the fingerboard was unfinished. Shoulda never sold that build.

Damn....I got a whole bag of it. Ive done the backs of half my necks and all my rosewood fingerboards with it. I mask off the pickups though. I usually do it right in the middle of the music room then sweep up the shards afterward. Lol

Put the 500k volume in today. I think with the tone disconnected and the 500k volume the SD sounds good now. The singles are a hair brighter but they suck anyway.

Peavey classics are sweet amps. Never played a 20 but the 50 2x12 was a great bluesy sweet amp.

A local PA provider around here swears by them. He has old W bins loaded with them. Another good company is B&C they will match up speakers for your cab specs if you call them.
