New DMM day

So my old Knight DMM i use for amps died after years. I bought a cheap Harbor Freight one that sucked.
So after hearing me bitch trying to get it to read my wife bought me a new one.
Its a Klein Tools one. Flukes are the best but I dont wanna spend $150+
Anyone use a Klein? Accurate?

I choose not to get the auto ranging one.

I have Flukes and have had the Centec from HF as well
I agree HF is dubious at best

Yea the Harbor Freight thing was sposed to be a cheap hold over. But man...touching the leads together to check for zero( or however much resistencr of the leads needed to be deducted from measurements) the reading would dance all over the place.
Then after a short time it stopped reading and youd have to fiddle with with the leads were they plug in the meter.
Then the black probe just fell off the wire one day..so I soldered on an aligator clip....but it still did all its antics.
Oh well I saved the 9v battery clip out of it lol

Never used the Ampere settings, but my new (used) DMM reads capacities, inductance and tests transistors.

I have the Prostar DMM that does inductance and ohms.tgis is a just for pickups DMM
