I got an Alnico 6, and an Alnico 8 magnet in the mail today. I'm going to try these in a JB. The Alnico 6 magnet broke in half. It looks like a clean break. Can I still install this in my JB? What can be done? Thanks in advance, -Tony-

I've read in a thread on here that an Alnico 6 magnet will tame some highs and add bass, for the most part. This sounds like it would work well for a JB, no? Has anyone tried it? I did some searches, but came up with nothing. I'm thinking about giving it a shot. Thoughts?
