String up your two e strings while holding the neck in place in the pocket. Shift it around until you find a position that you're comfortable with as far as the strings distance from the edge of the fretboard. Once you're happy with it, reach around behind the neck with a sharpy/pencil/pen/**** on a stick and mark it's position. Pull out the black and decker, then get to work.
