I have this Hondo I I Strat copy, I Need a replacement pickguard, but I've got a design in mind for movable pickups. Who does this kind of work?

I've heard you can wire two single coil pickups in series so that they sound like a humbucker, Now am I crazy to think that the same could be done with two hot rails? For that matter, with two humbuckers?

I want to be able to use either coil in the pickup, or both together, with an on/on/on mini toggle, 1 vol, 1 tone, 2 of the pickups, both wired with a mini toggle, Do I need anything else? Also after reading about a spin a split, which do you think is better, the mini toggle or the spin-a-split?

I really want to try some p-90 pickups, in this guitar I'm building, but I need single coil sized, as in to fit a strat, p-90's, just two of them, Willing to trade from the pickups in the title. Thanks in advance.

I've got this Hondo II strat copy, It's got two single coil pickups, a gibson style pickup selector, one volume pot, and an artec preamp. My only problem is I've never just started from scratch before, Not really sure where to go. This is how artec says to wire in the preamp...

I've got this Hondo II strat copy here, and I just purchased an Artec distortion in a knob type thing. I'm ashamed to say, I don't know heads from tails in this guitar.

I have this idea for a guitar in my head, a strat, with a padauk body and neck, but a maple fretboard and skunk stripe on the neck, and a maple pickguard. If I was using just standard fender single coil pickups, where on the spectrum from bright to dark is the tone?

I just had a few questions about them, are they a true humbucker with two coils? If so, could a pickup be made with two drastically different pickups, and a selector switch, to switch between the two coils and both on? I mean, Could you put something very vintage, with something very hot? Or...

So, In my strat, I now have hot rails in the neck and middle, and I've just ordered a perpetual burn for the bridge, I want to set all three of these pickups in a way that I can use either coil in each pickup, be able to use the neck and bridge at the same time, and be able to have all pickups...

Alright, I need to know how to wire a set of Duncan Hot Rails, into a B.C. Rich Warlock, The pickups it had in it were crap, but my problem is, the wiring diagram for the hot rails show it running through 4 pots, How would I wire them into 2 pots? Thanks in advance.
