  • Yer PM box is full, so I'mma just reply to your last one here, lad.

Thanks for all tht information. I'd never even heard of discounts like that, though I suppose it's fairly obvious when you think about.

I'm part-time office manager in a music school (not nearly as cool as it sounds, by the way. I'm a glorified secretary, really) and I'm on the staff list as occasional sub teacher, so I didn't have a hard time convincing the site. I'm also on pretty friendly terms with the manager (it's a small business and it's just me and him in the office, most of the time) so hopefully he won't have a problem with it.
I sent an Email to the store to get a quote and it's pretty reasonable, though not really all that much more discount than I was offered originally. He offered to throw in the footswitch at cost and a couple of leads and packs of strings as well, though...which I can always offer to my manager for the school to sweeten the deal for him and to say thanks. My house is ****ing coming down with leads already.

Anyway, rambling aside, that was a great head-up, man. Thanks a lot for that and for the offer. Really appreciate it. :beerchug:

Nothing this year. Missed the Arctic Grayling run in May and really haven't spent much time thinking about it. Next run is in early October and I'll miss that one as well. I might get some time to tie in mid July if we go flyfishing for whitefish or rainbow trout, but that's up in the air. Plus I don't think Josh has sent any of his chicken feathers yet.

    C'est la vie.

hey man, im down in Wicklow, and yeah kinda weird how little of us their are...
Not at all man, I just wondered how bad your memory was :)
I made those for Daemon to his spec, and I will make ya a few as stated back in that other thread. Just let me know what size and type man ....
Out of your head? Dude, I'd expect nothing less!

Thank a lot for the offer dude, it's real generous and I'd love to say hello and I'm definitely meaning to catch you guys in action but I'm not gonn amake it tonight unfortunately. Moving in here has left me completely broke.

The horrible, horrible hangover may be a factor too...

Thanks anyway, man, seriously. Best of luck tonight. Have fun. :beerchug:
Ye-oo lad. Sounds like a pretty cool gig, dude. I'll see what I can do. I'm a bit tight for money at the minute and I'm moving into a new place on the eleventh, not to mention my friends band is playing a gig on the tenth so it's a bit sketchy about whether I'll make it. I'll definitely try to make it down and say boutchee though.

BTW, is that you in that pic up there? ^^^
    Wow,that sounds like fun.
The things run allmost as I wish, but life would be boring without obstacles hahah.
Just move down here man, it was nice 12 degrees yesterday, and lot's of bikers where around heeheh. I still don't have a new bike, and it will take time till I get one. I al so jaleous right now hehe.
Happy X-mass bro, hope you enjoy our time, and hope I could record some riffs to show off LOL
Thanks a lot man, yes, I have not much time lately, and the time I have is not sufficient to lurk in the internet hehe. I am in France again, new business, small stuff, new appartement, blah etc. Everything runs slow and ... welll... French as Eddie Izzard would say hahah.

    How are you?
    Yeah I understand you!
I am 184 tall ,so a Small bike is a big problem for me.I really don't know what to get. The KTM 990T SM is a fast accelerating machine and it's really fast for my purposes. The sitting position is important since I have to carry medical equipment too and there will be days with 400 kilometers and more under the wheels.

Anyways ,hope i buy the right bike. Cheers mate!
    Woohoo!
Man that's funny how you jump between japanese bikes...kawa ,suzuki ,Honda...It's interesting how the CBR 600 is for many people a day bike!

I am more of a fan of European bikes. It's about the frame and V engines I assume. So the BMW is not in my list altough I learned to ride with a R1150 RS.

I am looking for a new bike ,and I think August will be the time when i buy one.
I am thorn between KTM 990 adventure and ktm 990 supermoto. Both are excelent bikes, and both will serve me well with my job and casual needs.
    Ducati is another option (multi-strada).

I dunno man ,I have to test them all LOL...
Hey bud, got your message whilst I was at work... got home to listen to the band and can't find your message!!? Can you re-send it? I'll let ya know my thoughts, all the best. Don.
