    Gak don't give great a discount compared to some others, but they are reliable and prompt.
    Obviously you went with them because they had the gear you wanted, but for future stuff, look into Strings Direct for free delivery cheap strings, and Gear4u for other musical stuffs....

    Yes, but it was never the intended neck pickup and I had to rout the front cavity substantially deeper to make it phit. It actually sounds very good alone and even better mixed with the JD in the bridge ... both in series and in parallel.

    I am having MJ wind me a A5 + A2 Phat Cat to 7.5k that will eventually take over the neck position.

    Thanks for the compliment on the Tele, Kam! It was my first refinish job and it is still incomplete (I haven't finished clear coating the back).
