6 STRING JAMMER

I have a JB trembucker pickup on my Ibanez prestige (floating tremolo) with a basswood body and flamed maple top. I love the cut and the harmonics sustain of the pickup, however it sounds very thin and and not full. I am looking for a pickup that gives me the exact same characteristics I like but give me a thicker, warmer chunkier sound. I know that I am not looking for a ceramic pickup or active pickup. I have tried the dimebucker and the Duncan distortion and that's why I know know I do not want a ceramic pickup. Am I describing the alternative 8 ? How is the Alinico 8 magnet different from the Alnico 5? Do you lose the the harmonic sustain with the alternate 8 ? Thank you in advance!! :wave:
