depending on what you play, how much gain you use, and personal preference you may find that .0033 is fine but if you use a lot of gain, you might not even notice a difference with it all the way off since the amp/pedal is going to replace almost all the lost overtones

That is a good point. With 5500pf cap I use, the tone change is very subtle with high distortion. I prefer guitars own sound to be prominent and mostly play classic rock and blues stuff so that doesn't matter. It still works very well with "hard rock level" overdrive/distortion
