1,000 posts and NGD

My first pedal was a Boss DS-2 so I got one out of nostalgia. It's actually better than I remembered but I think it's because my amp is better than what I used then.

I also wanted to share that this my 1,000th post and that I'm happy to be part of this great community [emoji4]

I really like the mids with the DS-2 on mode2. One of the most overlooked dirt pedals IMO.

Yeah, it's a very unique singing sound. I may put it on the board and use it for some leads, see what happens.

Mode I is an "improved" DS-1 Tone. Mode II has, like Dave hinted at, a heavy mids boost meant for soloing. Mode I think Cobain, mode II think Frusciante. You can change the mode with a remote switch.

Thanks! I still have to hear a bad dirt pedal through the 5e3, they just seem to work great, DS-2 included.

I forget if I had one or really wanted one and never got it but I loved the idea of the turbo button

Those Boss pedals are hard to beat for the price, enjoy! Also, congrats on the 1,000th post!
