tom...well, money talks my friend, if someone wants to pay for it they can own it and if no one wants to pony up the cash then i'll keep it. as i've said i'm fine with it either way and don't need to sell it.

ok.. my 0.02$
sell it for a pretty penny, then get a copper strat. try to get the same color. you'll still have the uniqueness, but a player, which is obviously what you want.
IMO having a 1 of a kind is totaly sweet, but like you i would be totaly paranoid about it and prolly have it displayed in a vault, looking at it, thinking how nice it is, and how many guitars i'd actually play i could buy if i sold it, but since it's a 1 off, the chances of getting it back are null, and even if, it'd go all over again.
FWIW, sell it and get a couple of guitars you'll enjoy and be able to say. i owned an unique guitar, which i couldnt play so to compensate i got TWO guitars that outplay everything on the planet
