10, 12, 16...

I've had a Gibson Dickie Betts string set on my SG a week now and I really like the sound and feel. I also went back to the GHS Gilmour set on My JV Strat (SSL-5, SSL-1, CS '69 combo with a neck on switch - as close as I can be to a Gilmour tribute).

I wonder why there aren't more 10, 12, 16... sets. They seem just right to me.

Anyone else?

That's interesting, I've never seen anybody use the DG strings yet...I was always turned off by the strange gauges to be honest.

I like sticking to the "normal" gauges so if I can't get my normal strings for whatever reason I know that the sizes of something else are the same and I can switch w/o having to re intonate.

I thought there are two DG sets, one for Fender scale and one for Gibson scale.

I'll have to try them I think. I am really annoyed by 011 H strings.
