10" speakers - Eminence Lil' buddy?

Thinkin about swappin the carvin VL-10s in my elk cab for somthing a tad darker, was thinking about getting a pair of Eminence Lil' Buddies (which are, AFAIK, a 10" version of the cannabis rex). They're 50 watts a piece, and I'm gonna be runnin it with my 100 watt (I think) fender showman.

This is a stay-at-home/recording amp for me. Its probably not gonna get gigged, and the amp probably isn't gonna get kranked too much.

Whadda ya think? I'm open to other suggestions.

The Showman is 100 watts...Not sure about the Lil Buddy's I have tried the cannabis rex and dug them...they have a slightly dark treble whch can be good for BF/SF Fender amps.

what kind of tone are you looking for from the amp?

The speakers in my cab at the moment sound OK for the most part, but I have to keep the treble knob tamed around 3 or 4 to make sure that things dont get too harsh. They're pretty bright.

I guess what I'm really looking for is just somthing to tame the highs a bit.
