The C-5 is 14.4, but it really sounds closer to vintage, than modern. I've always thought of it as the 59 Hot.

That's probably about right. Both have a bit of a mid-scoop.

It wont sound the same as the 59 because it does not have slugs. It has a row of hex screws instead. It changes the sound!

I've sometimes wondered why Duncan doesn't make an A5 10K pickup. I think Jolly made one at UGD, but I can't recall if it was A5 or A2.

thats why i took the 59 and the PAF and put them in the same pickup because the 59 just needs a tad more, and the PAF is just a bit to much.

If i put slugs in the screamin deamon what would it do? add bass? take some treble away?
