I prefer rosewood necks, so that's one of the many pluses of these guitars. :D

Considered put wood in the pickup hole? Not much more work.

Actually, for the last few I used wood shims that were cut to fit, and then a thin layer of wood filler over top. The wood shims were less than $2 a bundle, and I haven't even gone through a bundle yet. :D

I'm pretty sure it's a standard 25.5" scale length.
