actually, you were the first out of you two to start 'sledging'...if you need a memory refresher, see the last reply on page 1 (that's written by you btw, just in case you forgot). Theodie's response can be read at the top of page 2. You even commented that you couldn't wait to read his response after lighting the fire, so to speak.

Maybe you forget quickly, or maybe it's a case of selective memory where you only want to remember things in a way so that you can feel right about everything...just like with this 'discussion, er argument.'

I think some of the problem here is we have people like me who answer the question
No, a harmonic cannot be out of tune with an open string, it is impossible.
And then we have people who are trying to see the reason for asking such a question, and they are trying to add more and figure out what exactly the person wants to know.
But the strict answer to the exact question asked is NO
(and thats from a former Physics Major)

truant. this stuff went off from another post so all this stuff about selective memory, don't make me laugh. if you read the original thread on this matter (cheap strat) then you will see an aggressive response first from.....you guessed it, not me. i don't really get kicks out of this stuff. and if you read my numerous posts, i am always grateful for any info on matters that i know little about.
