I recently purchased a used SD Twin Tube Blue, and I have a question regarding the power requirements and limitations of the unit. IT came with a 16 volt wall wart power supply, and it appears to work fine with it. How ever, I'm using an off-brand power brick type supply to power my other pedals, and it only offers two voltage levels, 9 & 18 volt.
Is there a way to use it with this pedal? Will 18 volts cook the 16 volt innards of the gadgets? Is there a way to step down the 18 volt output to 16? OR should I just learn to live with having two wall warts running my pedal board?
