170 vs 200 powerstage

I think I can get a powerstage at a discount through a friend. The 170 is looking adequate but the 200 of course is appealing to be able to power 2 cabs.

In reality I don't see ever needing to power 2 cabs, and I don't need a cab sim.

Also, I'd run it through a 1 x12 with a v30 or a 2 x12 with v30s and 200 seems like overkill for either.

Wanting to use it in a band situation so it does need to be loud but I don't need to rip my speakers in half.

Why can't you run 2 cabs with the 170? Most speaker cabs have a parallel jack, if not you can add one.

good point and would enable me to achieve maximum wattage at 4 ohms. I forgot that if I'm using an 8 ohm cab it won't be 170 watts but more like 90.
