1934 Gibson L-00

I have a real deal 1934 Gibson L-00 on the bench. Pretty good shape, but the action needs to come down a bit. One of the tuning machines is butched up, and even with all the vintage parts I have, I can't find something to work. Anyone out there have some vintage tuning machine parts for an old Gibson parlor guitar, or know of a source? This is not the kind of stuff I usually work on. Thanks.

A pal found some in his boxes of parts locally, so I'm in business. Will have the action down, and restring it this afternoon. Should be real nice when I have it done. The client is a blues guy, so he'll lay down some golden vibes and I can hear what this old girl sounds like.

Beauty! I used a guitar just like that in the fall except much more wear on it than that one you post

-friggin' loved it, such a soft gentle warm tone.

I offered to buy it, but no dice.

FWIW I’ve had good success finding parts for antique instruments through Elderly and StewMac. Waverly makes all kinds of replacement tuners for vintage instruments, the blueprint specs are on the site.
