Pricing on Gibson husks

Here's another one. I'd bite at maybe $400 as a fun fixer upper. I bet this gets to $1000 by the time it's done

I have a couple picks that once touched a Gibson. Given what you're showing me there, I figure I should list them for top dollar.

You're much more likely to find a good deal in a pawn shop than online.

Not likely, but it DOES happen. I bought a dented up Ibanez GAX-50 from a pawnshop down the road for $42. Went home and pulled the pair of Duncan Invaders which I sold to a client for $100. Now it's one of the husks I use for experimentation in tunings and pickups.

I was watching this beat to death 335 all the way through. Last minute bidding went from about $600 all the way to $1200 +

Vintage is cool. Projects are fun. Unless you ABSOLUTELY love this model to death you are going to spend so much more time and money bringing it back to life you might as well buy a brand new one which is going to better in almost every way.

Wow, I wonder how they came up with that exact price...like, if it was $50 more, they would say, 'No, it's too high, no one will buy that".
