. I was about to trade thise for a Krank amp and an Orange Cabinet, but decided to back out as I really didnt want either of those things, so Its back fo sale 900.00 Plus actual packing shipping UPS store.
'59 Bassman replica . If you are in the market for a Bassman, then you probably already know about it. Looks excellent, Works 101%.
Anyhow, This is THE blues amp. Gritty, Growling, Sweet,.This one has all the right stuff includeing the Heyboar transformers and JJ tubes. Has the Mojotone 10 speakers that are pretty decent copies of Jensens compared to most. Assembly was very professional, besides that the tubes are a little wobbly in the cockets and the pins need to be tightened up. I have actually tried this amp alongside a genuine early Fender Bassman Tweed amp and its surprisingly close. Not spot on for sure , but very convincing! Add to that the fact it doesnt cost $12,000 dollars and youll begin to see why its such a attractive prospect for a amp at this pricepoint. The Kit itself is 1150.00 new , plus assembly isanother few hundred dollars, so Im going to start at 900.00+ actual shipping to be professionally packed and sent through the UPS store. Im open to trades for a High gaIn style amplifier. Something that will peel the paint off the wall. Maybe trade for an interesting guitar. I have a little X-Mas cash right now still to even out a trade, so make an offer.
Check my feedback, Ive done dozens of good trades here, and Im '626doveplace' on Evilbay with 468 positives and 100% feedback. We can do the deal through ebay if its strictly cash on a buy it now for your complete peace of mind.
I'd really like to sell or ttrade this b4 Evilbay;

Careful now, this amp is the king of tone jerry said so...I mean it must be amazing he wants $900 but he only paid $525, that means it's even better than he thought it was to begin with!!!

Its not a bad amp. Its definitly 1500.00 worth of Amp new. I dont think Im too out there asking 900.00. In any event, , I dont think its too crazy to run through some different stuff as your needs, wants and expectations change.
If I were 1/2 way rich I'd just keep it and throw it in the basement. Dig it out and use it whenever i feel like it..Like some of the chicks i bring over to my place.

I don't either. However, one week you're talking about how you have the Holy Grail of Tone amp, and then a few weeks later you're wanting/buying something 100% in the opposite direction, and selling whatever was the supposed Holy Grail amp or guitar or whatever it may be. I don't think it would be that bad except for everytime you buy something it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

It's almost like you buy stuff just for our approval or something, and then when the hoopla dies down you sell it and buy something else to see what we all think.

I think you're a great guy Jerry and always enjoy talking with you on the phone, but you're the most wishy washy person I've ever known in my entire life. You just trip me out man.

Re: 1959 Tweed Bassman Replica

The extra cash he's charging is for those stains on top from his Keystone in a can.............. :friday: definately adds mojo!

Jerry, what did you do to this amp ?

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Vintage-Reissue-59-Bassman-LTD?sku=480726

It is only $1299.00 new, and that is the new 2009 price, not the old '08 price :scratchch

Just curious . . .
