1996 50th Ann Strat Neck FS

I have essientially a zero ( maybe 1 or 2 ours max) played 50th anniversery (Fender 50 years badge)Strat neck from a 96 Tex Mex Strat. It was bought the day the model came out by my moms old boyfriend. I was with him when he bought it, we tried out several and this was the best in the bunch. He recently gave this guitar and a bunch of others to me. The guitar still had the tags, plastic on the pickgaurd and original strings on it!! It simply sat untouched in his closet for all these years. I fell in love with the body color on the Strat and put my 62 RI neck on it. I am a rosewood C contour guy, this neck is maple and V. Clean as clean and is a great neck but just not my cup o tea. . I can't imagine finding a cleaner neck anywhere of this vintage. It has the 50th anniversery badge on the headstock.

I'm confused... 2004 was the Strat's 50th anniversary. Are you sure you don't mean 40th anniversary? 1996 would be closer to the 40th anniv. year than to the 50th.

It's the 50th anniversary of Fender, not the Stratocaster.

i have a 1996 ann mim strat as well, and its such a great guitar. i have yet to play a strat (newer) thats better

The neck is back for sale. I thought I had it sold but the buyer was looking for a fatter neck. Same price!! Again, I really wish I had pics but I don't have a dcam. The neck is very nice!!
