any kind of overdub or effects? they sound METALLIC.

I finally got around to listening to everything on the site. My studio PC is now fixed so I can actually hear it. First, I REALLY dig your material dude. From Yankee fan to Yankee fan that stuff kicked ass! I shot a video of my 3 year old daughter dancing to "She's only sayin'"- she loved that one. Your singing is really great, similar to Eddie Vetter (sp?). I love the guitar sounds you are getting man. Here are more specifics-

"In My Shoes" - this one really reminds me of something that could have been on Steve Vai's "Flexible" record without all of the over playing. The guitars sounds really raw and live. Great song and great vocal performance. Loved it.

"Myself'- I f-ing LOVE the clean guitar sounds on this one!!! I have never really had much interest in owning a Fender amp UNTIL i heard this.... Just a great overall production. Great vibe, great song, great wacky stuff, etc...

"Laughin'" - I really like some of the cool guitar stuff going on in this one. I like the song and your guitar playing.

"She's Only Sayin'" - what a great song. Like, In MY Shoes, very raw and live sounding. I love that in a song. It doesn't sound over produced, it sounds like bunch of guys playing their asses off!! Probably my favorite tune!!

OVerall: BIG thumbs up man! Great job!

WFD: thanx for listening dood. The "not so" unholy vocals were actually recorded with a 57 through the $99 Presonus Tubepre. Crazy how I've been using that set-up for my vocals lately over the U87-Avalon that I usually use.
There is some reverb on the vocals. The choruses I actually took the same track and bumped it forward a few milliseconds & used it to double it. I liked the phaseyness of it.

if you think they are good from the comp, you should hear them with great quality on a cd!

also, i dig the tunes on the ep as im sure u know by now, however, i think when u do release the ep, the tracklist should be rearranged.

4. in my shoes (with the hopefully added feedback ending)

You sound great! I love "Myself," I love the tone on it, and I love the fills. It shows that you don't have to be overly complex to have a great sounding piece. This is music that really anyone could enjoy. Good luck to you, this could really go far.

Excellent guitar work and vocals. This one, as well as the others, is very fun and meaningful. I think I'm going to have 'She's Only Sayin' stuck in my head all night. Very kool tunes.
