2 and 4 position sounds weird

Hi,
I just installed my new seymour duncan pickups on my strat.

Fat 50' (original strat pickup) - neck position.
Antiquity II Surfer Strat - Middle position.
Antiquity Texas Hot Strat - bridge position.

Positions 1, 3 and 5 sounding great, but positions 2 and 4 sounds like in phase.
All the pickups are 2 conductors pickups so i think the wiring is fine.

I'll be happy if someone know this problem and can help me with it.

Thanks

Re: 2 and 4 position sounds weird

Those pickups have polarity issues. Fenders are different to typical Duncan.....and the Antiquities are opposite to each other.

Flip leads on middle pickup and this will sort both positions.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
I'm sorry but what do you mean in flip leads?
I have 2 wires that comes out from the middle pickup one goes to my switch and one to ground..

Thank you!

he means connecting the one previously going to ground to hot, and the hot to ground, which makes it the same as a rw wired in the right way

This sort of problem is always possible when mixing pickups from different manufacturers. Even some from the same manufacturers, too (in the case of the Antiquity Texas Hots).
