Re: 2 conductors humbucker's mod??????????
With push-pulls, you can wire a single lead HB (hot & ground) for out of phase, and wire it so that it links with another PU in series (instead of parallel). Both of these are part of the Jimmy Page system.
It's easy to wire a single lead HB so that it will do coil split and spin-a-split, not sure about your EMG's (are they active, and sealed?).
To covert single lead:
- remove cover.
- remove tape that covers both coils (not the tape on individual coils).
- there's several wire connections soldered and taped together; gently pull out the one that connection the two coils together so that you can work with it (the other two are for hot and ground).
- remove the little piece of tape and solder a long shielded wire to it (solder just the hot part of the wire, the shield/ground is just to reduce hum).
- put the tape back over that, and then the tape back over the coils. put the cover back on.
- run that wire to the control cavity, and solder it to a push-pull, in the normal coil split way.
