2 for 2 in trades... V30 and sparkle drive

Last week I trade an epi les Paul custom Zakk wylde bullseye and two seymour duncan humbuckers for a 20 watt jet city combo and 112 ext cab. I felt I came on top ESP since I never touched the epi or pickups.

Well today i traded a gni xtreme distortion pedal and a full tone OCD v4 for a slightly broken in uk made Celestion vintage 30 and a voodoo labs sparkle drive (od). I haven't touched the gni since I got it and the OCD rarely gets used. Those two pedals never gelled with my vht.

I'm happy bc I got a nice speaker to put in the jet city combo and a nice od that works as a clean boost. I'm trying to get the jet city upgraded. I need a few more tubes for it. I'm trying to get my 10 year old son into playing guitar. If he gets into it the jet city will be his along with a vintage USA epi sg.

Cool beans man. I hope my kids will want to play as well. I can't wait to pass my stuff down!

Nice deal. You got a good speaker and a nice OD for hardly used pedal of yours and an OD that is fairly common and easily replaceable.

I don't know why but I coul t gel with the OCD it just turned wverything to mush

Yeah I get that. I have one but only used it for boosting, not as a stand alone dirt box. Too dull and muddy for that I thought.
Mine's packed away, since I don't boost my amps anymore.
