2 hb and 5-switch

Hi boys, I have a guitar with two hb and a normal 5 switch (one tone and one volume). What kind of combination can I obtain? On DiMarzio site there isn't this combination, while on SD site only one, but very strange.

Where can I find different wiring to choose from?

Thanks a lot for your help

Re: 2 hb and 5-switch

depends on the switch and if your pups have 4 conductor wiring or not. if you have a superswitch type then you can use it to do splitting and whatnot so you could have the bridge or neck tapped either on their own, or both together. if it's a normal strat 5-way, then you lose the trickseyness and afaik can only get the full humbucker sounds.

I have pickups with 4 cond but the switch isn't a super switch.

Those diagrams are all 3-way or Superswitch or rotary selectors.

The way in which the traditional five-way selector forms connections severely limits your options.
1) Bridge only
2) B + N
3) Neck only
4) N + ?
5) ?

The question mark probably represents the bridge pickup in reverse phase or coil split or something.

There are plenty of interesting ways to wire up two humbuckers but these require one of the many varieties of Superswitch.

Hi my friend, isn't possible to have a typical 1) bridge 3) b+N and 5) Neck with 2 o 4 someone of different? I don't like neck in 3) position.. thanks!

Re: 2 hb and 5-switch

If you use a normal Strat switch and you want:

1) bridge 3) b+N and 5) Neck

Then 2 and 4 will both be B+N as well.

Just get a superswitch. It'll be worth it.
