start with this. here's what i want:

tone knob converted to a second volume (already been done)

pickup switch:
1. neck series
2. neck parallel
3. inner coils in parallel
4. bridge parallel
5. bridge series

if it's possible to do it with the stock switch, that's best, but i do have one of the ibanez-style 5-way 4-pole switches if i need that; i just hate working with them and don't want to spend $13 for a fender one.

You'll definitely need a Superswitch to do that combo. I believe the Ibby switch will also. Let me research that switch a little, and I'll get back to you.

This is basically what you want. I believe the Ibby is just a variant of the Superswitch.

You're right the Ibanez VLX91 is a 4 pole 6 throw switch. like the superswitch.

Ah, yes. I remember now. But its terminals are in an odd position, so my diagram might not be of any help. I'll try to re-draw it tonight using the Ibby switch.

Artie, I could use that one too, both with the Ibby switch and this one, but with the more traditional 1V 1T.

Thanks!

See? Nobody is allowed to yell at me for resurrecting four-year-old threads!

If I can find some time between barley and hops this weekend, I'll get it posted. :D

(J/K) . . . I'll post something tomorrow.)

Actually since the original post was from 2004, I think you have 'till 2012 to come up with a schematic :jester:
